What is science? Is it uniquely equipped to deliver universal truths? Or is it one of many disciplines – art, literature, religion – that offer different forms of understanding? And what role might philosophy have in our understanding of science?

On November 12th 2015, Tim Lewens, author of 'The Meaning of Science' (Pelican Books) discussed these questions at the Wellcome Collection as part of the Being Human Festival. This discussion was facilitated by Julian Baggini, writer and philosopher.
